This position is essential for the success of JA’s Experiential Learning Program, JA BizTown. JA BizTown is an immersive, Junior Achievement-run educational program for 4th-6th grade students that combines in-class, curriculum-based learning with a day-long visit to a simulated, fully interactive town. As part of a collaborative team environment, this role assures the quality and effectiveness of the student, teacher, and volunteer experience. This role is a great fit for candidates that have project management and community engagement experience as well as dynamic presentation and classroom management skills. The position has a statewide focus and is full time with a competitive salary, bonus potential, and comprehensive benefit package!

Primary Responsibilities:

POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES & ACTIVITIES:
Create a positive Experiential Learning environment for students, teachers and volunteers. Gain and apply knowledge and understanding of the Experiential Learning operations, software and equipment.
Manage relationships with volunteers and teachers. Recruit volunteers, conduct trainings, solicit feedback, manage recognition efforts and maintain compliance documentation.
Effective communication with school district representatives to provide information and resolve inquiries related to Experiential Learning implementation and execution.
Work within and maintain budget goals.
Maintain records for student/class registrations and ensure quality data.
Requires state travel wide overnight stays for implementation and execution of Experiential Learning simulation. Approximately 80 nights on the road.

Qualifications (required)

REQUIRED COMPETENCIES:

Identify and anticipate the expectations and needs of various Junior Achievement stakeholders.
Ability to manage data appropriately and efficiently. Proven proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite products, specifically, Word, Excel and Outlook.
Must be comfortable lifting 50lbs and driving a cargo van
