This position performs the administrative functions of program management, which includes working closely with educators & school staff statewide to deliver JA curriculum and volunteers.
This position performs the administrative functions of program management, which includes working closely with educators & school staff statewide to deliver JA curriculum and volunteers. The role will include creating and providing digital program materials and resources, recruiting and training virtual and in-person volunteers, maintaining accurate program records through database entries and conducting accurate and consistent follow-up. The position also is responsible for maintaining strong school partnerships, increasing public awareness for Junior Achievement programs, and training volunteers.
Responsible for the day-to-day management and smooth operation of JA programs (digital/blended and traditional/kit based programs)
Responsible for meeting individual and program goals set by the yearly Strategic Plan.
Strong knowledge of G-Suite (Google Educator Certification preferred)
Manage Google Suite and stay up to date with current JA programs & content.
Recruit and place program volunteers to meet program goals per the Strategic Plan
Develop strong partnerships and strengthening relationships that promote and increase volunteer participation.
Maintain and manage relationships with schools, community organizations, teachers, stakeholders and volunteers
Implement volunteer recognition with Company Connection firms
Participate/Lead in Virtual Volunteer Trainings
Achieves individual and programmatic goals and monitors the progress of the program goals.
Provide feedback, program materials, and resources to volunteers and teachers
Maintain strong understanding of new and existing products
Assure program quality through teacher and volunteer phone calls, emails, and service
Enter and maintain accurate information in BCRM in a timely manner
Assist with special projects as needed.
Supports the Vice President of Education & Training with other duties and responsibilities as assigned
Bachelor’s Degree in education, business or related field
Knowledge of education community/organizations
Experience with digital content creation & management
Experience teaching or leading in a virtual environment
Strong interpersonal & communication skills
Must possess strong written/verbal communication skills and be a confident public speaker (both in person and virtually).
Thorough understanding of project management; able to work effectively under pressure to meet deadlines and goals
Must be proficient in Microsoft Office, Social Media, and Computers
Must be able to work independently, and have space in home dedicated as a workspace.
Flexibility – as some travel is required
