Personal Finance Code: 5141 Information
JA Personal Finance for South Carolina is a teacher-led course that equips high school students
with foundational personal finance skills. It meets all requirements for Code 5141. The comprehensive curriculum is correlated to meet all South Carolina's Learning Standards and fulfill the course requirements for this half unit credit
laid out by the state.
By incorporating teacher-led materials, virtual simulations, self-guided student sessions and
professional business volunteer engagement, South Carolina students will participate in an
engaging world of financial awareness to prepare them for post graduate life.

JA BizTown Mobile
JA BizTown Mobile® is designed to equip elementary students with a better understanding of careers and work readiness skills, by allowing them to experience an innovative, real-life simulation while challenging them to successfully manage a town of 20 business and manage their paycheck.

JA FINANCE PARK® MOBILE
JA Finance Park Mobile provides students a hands-on education in personal financial planning and career exploration. At the culmination of this teacher-led program, students participate in an on-site visit to the traveling mobile simulation or through a virtual experience. This opportunity allows students to apply all they've learned through an interactive simulation that provides real-world experiences.

Midlands A Night on Wall Street
The JA Stock Market Challenge is a technology-based simulation of the stock market in which every 60 seconds represents a day of trading. Beginning with a hypothetical account balance of $1,000,000, teams rush to amass the highest net-worth portfolio by the end of 60 days (one hour in real-time). The stakes are high and the competition is fierce!
