Bette joined JA of Greater South Carolina in August of 2016 as a Program Manager, working with lowcountry and midlands programs. She now oversees and manages the program operations for JA of Greater South Carolina's 43 counties. This includes working with the field staff to identify and recruit volunteers and educators, implementation of training as well as support in the implementation of JA programs, and develop recognition and stewardship opportunities for all JA individuals and community partners. Bette has a degree in Biology from Carson Newman College with a minor in Business.

She and her husband live in Clemson, South Carolina and have two teenagers.
